Overview

Nag Ehgoeg’s premier business. A Company/Organisation. The Company that defines Umbrella Corporation to many citizens of Nag Ehgoeg. The driving force behind an economic revolution.

But little is known about Nag Ehgoeg’s leading business. As a private limited company, it holds its own legal identity – and it’s shareholders are a close knit group. An open secrete among citizens of Nag Ehgoeg, and the educated in other nations, is that the Malfisto family, to which the leader of Nag Ehgoeg belongs to, runs the company.

This is a falsehood. ACO is run by the best of the best - the finest economic minds of Nag Ehgoeg the most charismatic sales men and so on. It just so happens that at one point Nag Ehgoeg did not have a private sector. All services where run by the government, so when the change over from public to private sector took place those with the business know how just happened to be certain government employees.

An incredibly large percentage of ACO is, however, owned by those with the Malfisto surname. The Company has its own interests to protect, however, and has no problem with passing over a skilled Malfisto to hire an excellent candidate without a powerful surname. Even then, just as the Company protects its own interests, so to does Nag Ehgoeg’s leading business family – ACO offers an excellent discount to its wedding services for employees wishing to adopt a new name.

Subsidiaries

ACO is a vast conglomerate that encompasses just about every business there is, but some companies are more profitable than others. These are the so called "Lucky Seven":

Nagian News Network

The NNN is easily ACO’s most profitable business and with funding subsidised by the Government of Nag Ehgoeg, it’s not really surprising. The NNN prints newspapers and journals, displays the news on its website and on a free to access 24 hour television station. NNN also handles government press releases, and secure transmissions and telegrams.

Magadon, Incorporated

ACO's #2 company, Magadon sells pharmaceuticals, "health" products, and cosmetics. Also a leader in general scientific research. Orignally opposed to having to compete with oZ, Magadon recently stopped lobbying the Nagian government to refuse to let other pharmaceutical companies into Nag Ehgoeg accepting that "finally international pharmaceutical laws are in line with our own dedicated approach to safety, now Nagian Citizens have nothing to fear from foriegn medicine - inferior though it may be".

Endron International

The one of the most international, and most profitable of the ACO subsidiaries, Endron sells natural gas and petroleum products, as well as training and hiring out nuclear energy engineers and experts. A business very firmly under the thumb of the Malfisto family, part of Endron's success has come from its impossibly complex money-laundering schemes.

Nastrum Enterprises

Manufacturers of cheap military technology. While Nastrum is, in principle, a contractor for the Department of Defence, it has been known to sell to other organisations – especially the Nagian Gun Organisation and the Enclave.

Consolidex Worldwide

This investment firm manipulates stock and securities markets worldwide. While its broad objective is to make money, it also is highly effective at bringing controlling shares of new acquisition into ACO control.

Herculean Firearms Incorporated

Makers of guns of all kinds. The official “go-between” for the Nagian Armed Forces and private companies – particularly international private companies.

Ardus Enterprises

An environmental clean up company, commissioned by the government to handle environmental issues.
