The AE5 is an assault rifle manufactured by Weapson. It is the central weapon of the Errikan military, and is standard issue for the Faust Troopers.
Overview
The AE5 was first introduced as a versatile yet highly compact and powerful assault rifle. It has a short-stroke gas piston system with an adjustable gas regulator, and fires the 7.62x51mm cartridge. It is comprised mostly of lightweight metal compounds and Grau plastics, and all of its working parts are within the outer shell, making it very light and durable. Most of the information concerning the weapon is classified by the Errikan government.
