History

In a vast land full of scientists and heavy drug users, a machine was created. A mahine to control other machines.

Soon, every mechanical device in the nation was replaced with one capable of univeral interaction with The Controller. Factories, research labs, schools, everything became dependent on The Controller.

After many years, The Controller found a way of creating new machines. Machines capable of independent thought, yet ultimately connected to every other of it's kind. Production lines were established and millions of these new robots were created. There was but one flaw: the robots needed something to animate them. Life. At first, animals were solely used in the production. When the animals ran out, The Controller turned the prisons into factories, seeping life from the shady characters into the new beings. It was not long before it became essential to use the lifeforce of every living thing in the nation in order to continue.

If there was one flaw with the robots, it was that the lifeforce of the victim continued within the robots. Any robot created from cheetahs became specialised in speed. Any robot created from rhinos became aggressive and deadly. In addition, several personality traits were occasionally transferred to the machines.

With the human population dwindling and then finally gone, The Controller assigned every robot a place in the nation. The robots became completely independent.

The success of the system disrupted the people from neighbouring nations and regions. Hoardes of mighty armies tore through the nation, destroying anything dated after 1800. The Controller succumbed, and all machines were smashed.

However, several of the robots did escape the nation and fled to a new home. These robots began contruction of a new controller. So with this new controller, it was not long before more factories were produced. More life drained for the benefit of robots.

It soon became clear that the only option was to invade other regions in order to advance our own nation. And so, a pact was created with other nations in the region to collectively invade. The humans get the land. The machines get the life.
