Aacken

Aacken is a large, cold planet located in the middile of Verdentia Major. It is the second largest habitable planet in the system, and has a wealth of mineral and metals resources. It is also the human homeworld in Verdentia Major, and as such, has the longest running civilisation on the same planet.

The climate is harsh and unforgiving, due to the onset of global cooling brought on by massive industrialisation throughout the 18-24th Centuries. The industry itself gives Aacken the upper hand when fighting a long war, as factories can be easily converted to war efforts.

The humans present on Aacken are of stocky build, with a muscular physique because of government 'sponsored' health and fitness training programmes. Many people are in the armed forces.

The Armed forces themselves are developed, and Aacken is currently looking to engage in interplanetary colonisation, and so has the military to defend its prospective colonies.

Technology is what can be called 'Industrial Tech'; hi-tech but low maintainance due to its simplicity. A human culture, Aacken is still using projectile weapons and mostly tracked vehicles.

Aacken has two moons; Greah and Kolln. It is likely that these fuel rich moons will be the first to be colonised.
