The Beginning of Exicathism
The Infinite Dictatorship of Abascalania began as a powerful authoritarian Catholic republic. It was soon involved in a war against its eastern neighbour Chucknorrisville, alongside Odinhab, on the grounds that the government of Chucknorrisville was allegedly committing "inhumane crimes" against its own citizens.
The first battle took place on the southern shores of Chucknorrisville, where Odinhab troops landed and began attacking local cities. Odinhab also established a beachhead at Chucknorrisville's largest (and only) island, which was being used as a major naval base. Chucknorrisville troops were not mobilized at the base at the time, enabling Odinhab to quickly occupy the island and establish a fortress there.
Abascalanian troops landed on the western coast, and Chucknorrisville quickly surrendered after futile attempts to ward off massive Abascalanian and Odinhabian forces.
