Political Life
Abdul joined the Religious Party in 1981 he was first the minister of Defence from 1985-1989 and then Minister of Forigen Affairs from 1991-1995 then in 2000 he became Ambassador to Syria and Lebanon from 2000-2006 then he became Deputy Prime Minister in 2006 but then he resigned after Prime Minister Abdullah Nasrallah was overthrowen by the Military but then 3 months later Abdullah Nasrallah resigned as Leader of the Religious Party so then Abdul Aziz become Leader in 2007 and then his party won the most seats in parliment and became Prime Minister
