The League

The Acapais Football League was originally set up with twenty top ranked clubs in one single division. After one season, Acapais Football Association decided to expand to three different divisions. The current top division is called the Gold Division, the middle is called the Silver Division, and the lowest is called Bronze Division. Three teams from the Gold and Silver divisions get relegated each season to the division below. Three teams also get promoted each season from the Silver and Bronze divisions to the division above.

Cup Competitions

Four cup competitions take place every year starting in season 3. The Emerald Cup is the cup competition for the Gold Division. The Sapphire Cup is the cup competition for the Silver Division. The Ruby Cup is the cup competition for the Bronze Division. These three cups are set up the same way. The bottom eight teams from the previous year take round 1 and are reduced to four. Those four remaining teams join the remaining 12 teams and they precede with single elimination until a champion is declared. The Diamond Cup contains all 60 teams from the Acapais Football League. In this cup the top four teams in the Gold Division get a first round bye and everyone else enters in round one.
