Act C-100

Act C-100 passes the following points into law.

  • President James Schofield(the founder) and his chosen predessors are declared monarch of cascadia.
  • The Monarch of cascadia is banned from making descions regarding cascadian affairs, entering the regional control pannel of cascadia or voting. In effect making him/her purely ceremonial.
  • The Monarch is subject to the prime ministers decisions.
  • The Monarch must give royal assent regardless of personal opinion when the bill is passed by the government. He/She does this by moving the passed bill from parliament to the "Passed Legislation" part of the forum. Note: The monarch cannot alter the bill in anyway shape or form except from changing the word "bill" to "act' which must be done when the bill is transfered to the passed legislation forum.
  • The Monarch can remove the ruling parliament when its ruling party passes legislation making cascadia a dictatorship or a one party state, and only under these circumstances, and an election must be called immediately.
  • The monarch must remove invading forces when ordered to do so by the presiding parliament unable to do this themselves due to loss of UN delegacy.
