Admiral Jack Ray was born on July 5, 2195 in the City of Armone, on the planet Delanda. Not much is known about his early life, as his home was wiped out in the Battle of Armone. What is known is that he graduated from high school in the upper half of his class, and only just gained admittance to the United States Naval Academy over the world of New Shiloh. While there, he worked hard and was able to ascend to the top of his class by the end of the Pleeb year.
After Graduation, He was assigned to the USS Raleigh Star Frigate of the 4th Fleet in the Delanda System. There, he fell in love with a young woman by the name of Lenara Jenkins. They where married aboard the Raleigh in 2222, and gave birth to their daughter, Lelai, a year later.
In December of 2227, he was granted command of the New Shiloh.
