Aelie Avernicus

Dr. Aelie Avernicus (born 1968) is the current Chancellor of the Republic of Rexxarae, and consequently leader of the ruling part, the Moslim Democratic Coalition. Ævernicus was born in Farcax, Rexxarae. She was raised in a middle-class home, her family secretly opposing the ruling communism. When the republic was consolidated, she joined with her mentor, Salim Louiziano, to found the Moslim Democratic Coalition. The coalition was based on islamic nationalism, economical agressiveness, and stronger law & order. After Louiziano's death, Ævernicus became the leader and public face of the coalition. She was elected Chancellor in 2001.

Early Life

Background

Aelie Avernicus was born on July 8th, 1968 in the small town of Farcax, Rexxarae. Her father was Gabriel Ævernicus, was a medical doctor, heading the town's hospital. Her mother, Shiella Avernicus, was a social scientist, collecting data for research. Both her parents were devout anti-communists, and they were not shy about it, either. The household would openly discuss the faults and evils of their own government frequently, brainwashing young Aelie with nationalism.

Youth

Aelie grew up to be a wreckless youth. She would vandalize, steal, and spread radical anti-socialistic graffiti around the town. Locals at the town of Farcax report she had had sexual relations with boys as soon as the age of 13, drinking and consuming drugs. However, Aelie did not falter. She became more established and orderly as she matured, and so her school-work rose from average to high.

Military Service

In 1986, at the age of 18, young Aelie Avernicus was conscripted into military service in the Rexxarean Army Air Force (RAAF, pronnounced 'raif'), becoming an airplane-engine engineer. She dutily served a full 3-year term in the army.

Studies

In 1990, on the eve of the DSSR's (Democratic Socialist State of Rexxarae) disbanding, Aelie Ævernicus admitted to Cezarius University. With her scholarship from the army, Aelie took mechanics, computers, and physics as her majors. There, in Cezarius University, the young scholar met her mentor, Salim Louiziano. Louiziano was campaigning for a reformative, democratic, moslim government. Aelie joined with him, getting involved more and more deeply in politics as she got her doctor's degrees in mechanics and physics.

Politics

Aelie Ævernicus, now doctor, followed Louiziano in the founding of his political party, Exlex, which was shortly afterwards destroyed and bamboozled by the government. Louiziano's wisdom and zeal were warmly welcome in the Novo Islam party, the only follower to come with him being Aelie. After climbing to the top of the party, Louiziano and Dr. Aelie Avernicus concieved a plan to found the Moslim Democratic Coalition. They charmed several medium-size party leaders, recruited them, and declared the coalition. Several more small parties were soon recruited.

Government

The Moslim Democratic Coalition was elected as the next government in the 2001 elections. Dr. Aelie Ævernicus, being the head of the party, became the new Chancellor of the republic. The party promised the end of conscription as-well as communism, none-of-which were fulfilled just yet.

Reforms

In 2006, the U.N. titled Rexxarae a 'father-knows-best' state. This caused some rioting and commosion, which relaxed after a short while. Following this, in an attempt to improve her national and international image, Dr. Aelie Avernicus opened a series of political reforms:

• Free colleging for those who cannot afford it.
• War against juvenile crime.
• Relaxation of conscription laws.
• More 'humane' death sentances.
