An African-Ambaran is a member of an ethnic group in Ambara whose ancestors originally came from Sub-Saharan Africa. Many African-Ambarans possess some European or even Asian ancestry as well. The term is almost used exclusively to refer to people of Sub-Saharan African ancestry and not to people of Arabic or Afrikaner extraction.
