Ages of NationStates

The history of NationStates gameplay can be divided into time periods similar to that of the Children of Iluvatar. We are now in the Sixth Age.

The First Age began upon the public release of NationStates and concluded with the appointment of Founders and Moderators. Most records from this time are lost due to the great purges of the forum.

The Second Age concluded with the fall of Thedoc's Delegacy in the Pacific and the rise of the New Pacific Order. Although more survives from this age than the previous one, the last continuous records to survive the purges come from the very end of this age.

The Third Age concluded with the termination of the old server, and the move to Jolt.

The Fourth Age concluded when Moldavi returned control of Pixiedance, Delegate of the North Pacific, to Cathyy for the second time.

The Fifth Age concluded with the People's Republic of the Pacific's declaration of enemy status towards Nasicournia and the calling of the Third Constitutional Convention of the West Pacific.
