A child football prodigy, agloir took a while to establish herself with the Potoroos. By World Cup 36 this talented and energetic midfielder had become one of the stars of the team.

Childhood Achievements and Setbacks

Born in the Monkeytop tree village of Halfbark, Agloir astounded the nation when she was selected in the first eleven of the then powerful Monkeytop United football team in 2111 at the age of only 13. She played over 20 senior games as the team went on the win the Premier Division title. On the strength of her prodigious ability she was granted a scholarship to the National Football Academy in Ellery Camp but, suffering badly from homesickness, struggled academically. Her difficulties were reflected in the following Premier League season where she appeared in only a handful of games for the Two Blues.

In her late teens agloir apprenticed herself to bertbert, a sniffer wombat handler, and become more disciplined in her approach to football, leading to her selection to the the national squad for World Cup 34 at the age of 21.

The Potoroo midfield was unsettled for this campaign, especially following the retirements of este and ysteri after only two qualifying games, making it difficult for the young agloir to establish herself. Started in 2 games and selected as substitute in 3 others and did not score any goals or receive any leighm medal votes.
