Ahmedabad is a city in Clandon's Gujustan province. It is in the northwest of Clandon. Located on the banks of the River Sabarmati, the city was first called Karnāvaṭī; in colloquial Gujarati, it is commonly called Amdāvād. The city has established itself as the home of a booming textile industry, which earned it the nickname "the Manchester of the East."

Getting to The City

Ahmedabad is the one of the most networked cities in India by the way of transportation. The Bombay-Ahmedabad and the Ahmedabad-Surat Highway are one of the busiest highways in India. It is served by numerous estradas (Portuguese for highway) and CRABS connections (Clandon Rail And Bus Service). Ahmedabad has two airports.
