Alanis Yang is a well-loved if mysterious and enigmatic member of the Delta Green government. She is known for having a powerful presence, especially for her extremely young age, and for being extremely outspoken, completely devoted to the State. Fitting that she be the perfect candidate for the position of Commissioner of Propaganda. Being extremely effective and calculating in her method, without any need of aid from her elders, she has shown she shows an intelligence far beyond that of any child of her age.
History
Very little is known of Alanis's short life beyond her relation to high ranking Delta Green member Sheng-ji Yang, whom she refers to as "ge-ge" or father. Blood relation between them is speculated, and while Yang plays the position of adopted father to Alanis, they seem also to be independent of each other at times. She had seemed to come from no history or background at all when O'Sullivan had named her head of his commission of propaganda. Needless to say, no one was disappointed. She also made history, being the youngest member of the government in Delta Green, and quite possibly, outside of some monarchies such as Bhutan, the youngest member of any government in recent history.

Alanis was one of the first experiments that Delta Green had done in genetics. By the early nineties, Delta Green had infiltrated and subverted the already expansive intelligence operations of Communist Brazil. Using the extremely clandestine facility of Bandeira Preta, which is still located within the Amazon (although no attempts to find it have been successful and all legitimate governments deny its existence), Delta Green double-agent Sheng-ji Yang used the expansive technology base of the communist nation and the massive resources available to fund a program to perfect the human genome "in the interest of humanity."
Most of the early attempts failed, yet there were two resounding successes. Created from the DNA of Brazilian agent Alissandre Lanier, two children had survived. Amareo Falconeiro, "the perfect soldier", and Alanis Yang, "the perfect mind." Taking Alanis to Uluru, she was kept and raised by specialized Delta Green caretakers. Her intelligence was extremely high, and introduced was experimentation from Project Twilight. The result was, untampered with by further enhancement and advanced aging techniques such as that used on Falconeiro, Alanis Yang.
Political Career
Alanis has only yet begun her career in the public spotlight. However, because of her great intelligence and ambition, she is being seriously considered for advancement within the Delta Green government. Serving to further Delta Green interests in domestic and foreign propaganda, she has brought nationalism to an all time high. She has a bright future ahead of her, quite possibly succeeding O'Sullivan when his time as President is finished.
Personal Life
Alanis spends almost all of her time in the spotlight, and rarely seems to live any life seemingly normal of a little girl like herself unless it would further advance her goal of increasing her public image and that of Delta Green. She often accompanies diplomatic missions overseas, and travels between populations of Delta green to deliver rallies and speeches.
When she does have the time, Alanis spends most of her time with her "father", Sheng-ji Yang, where she is tutored in various classical disciplines and furthers her own education. Alanis would seem to have no personal life beyond that of her career at all.
