History (OOC)

Albion is an small region but with a couple of rather large countries. It has shrunk a great deal after many of its countries fell into anarchy slowly. However, the region suirvived and is now dominated by the two huge states of Rolatia and Elizocracy. Rolatia was one of the first people to come after a split in the now-defunct Eastern Bloc brought a small group of people here: They were Tzekan, Darien and Wild Cat, Brashlandia, Prelumtarian Beta and Rolatia. Of these, Tzekan was the founder and Darien was the UN delegate.

The relationship with the Eastern Bloc started out badly. There was instantly talk of invasion. It was mainly talk, with planned invasions never going ahead. Meanwhile Rolatia became the 'War Correspondent' when he posted all news from the Bloc to Albion. This angered the Eastern Blocians a lot. Eventually they managed to get in and kick the entire region out. However, SalusaSecondus heard of the griefing and sorted them out with a ton of kicks and ejections from the UN. We then slowly recovered with very little happening, until the Ooodles incident.

Ooodles was a country who had arrived in Albion shortly after the mass kicking. He stayed for a while before moving to the Eastern Bloc. However, he managed to gain enough support to become UN delegate. At this point, Albion had around 15 people and EB around 25. Then the beginning of the end happened.

Ooodles kicked EVERYONE out of the Eastern Bloc. While most of the profilic players were online and watching their accounts arrive in the Rejected Realms. This lead to chaos. Eventually the founder kicked Ooodles, but it was too late.

Slowly, the countries trickled into the Bloc again. However, 10 did not return. Over the next few weeks, peace was established with them. They moved a diplomat into our region as a liason. However, it was already happening. One by one, people began dropping like flies. We went down to around 6 people in the next few weeks. The Eastern Bloc did the same. Next, their diplomat was ejected from the UN and quit the game in response. Eventually, there was only one country left in the Bloc (founded simply to keep it alive) and 2 in Albion. The one surving original Eastern Bloc member called Wendover is still alive in another region. Finally, we lost 2 of the remaining four in the next month or so. However, fresh wood came in before they both died. First came Flashes, a young country who was very eager to go. Soon after came Mythagic, the local eccentric. Muleland, the resident cabbage lover came next finally followed by Laaranya just a few days ago. Meanwhile, the Free Land of Elizocracy still survives from before the Fall, along with Rolatia, the last founder. A new incarnation of Brashlandia, Brukastan, has just been created also.

Then another successful invasion became reality. The Eurasian Republic and their allies entered the region, and took control of it as a colony. There is a lot of arguing, but eventually Rolatia, the biggest regional country, left to start Albion II and was followed by basically all non-invaders. The region grew with new recruits, but eventually due to an unfortunate hi-jacking of the invading delegate's account, the region was cleared and ceased to be. Pax Britannica then re-founded it and handed the account over to founding member of Albion, founder of Albion II and leader of the anti-invader resistance. Within two days, the change-over was complete. The first elections for the Albion high council were then held, with Rolatia taking an automatic seat as founder, Brukastan taking one as UN delegate, and the other five members being elected.
