Alexia Baldwin

Alexia Baldwin, previously carried the name of Alexia ap Adam. Her parents were wealthy and high ranking nobility under the Tzar. Circumstances are murky, however she was found by Commisaar Zara Alwood fighting for the Socialist cause at the Battle of Bath, where she was seriously injured, as well as earning several medals.

Due to her service for the Revolution, her death sentence was revoked, and instead she was invited to join the Cheka and serve as a Commisaar, which she did, working in Cyro alongside the Metropolitan Police in CSD-4 (Serious Crime Sub-Department).

Transfered to Neo Tyr during the Klatchian invasion, along with a contingent of the Metropolitan Police in order to help restore order in Kyrall, she narowly escaped death during the destruction of the city, moving to Easterling.

However, the controversy surrounding Commisaar Baldwin, stemmed from her parentage. Her Mother was Lady Rachael ap Adam, Countess of York and the Northern Bounds. It was also known that her father was not (as claimed on her birth certificate) Lord Seth ap Adam, Earl of York and the Northern Bounds. In years to come it would be proven beyond doubt that it was in fact the deceased Tzar Richard IV.

During Soult's revolution in Dyelli Beybi, Alexia vanished entirely, only to resurface some months later in Port Olympus leading the diplomatic front of the resistance to Soult.

During the fighting that followed, Alexia proved to be little more than adequate at military command. However her insane feats of bravery earned her the respect of the troops as well as causing nightmares for the military command.

This respect was reflected in the adoration of her subjects in Dyelli Beybi who not only willingly saw her crowned Tzarina, but demanded she run for Parliament. In the following elections, her party easily secured a majority in Parliament, making Alexia both Tzarina and Prime Minister of Dyelli Beybi. This created what many international observers saw as a massive and concerning concentration of power in one person. In her time in office, Alexia has proven to be a more than competent ruler and retained her phenomenal popularity. She has become known throughout for her idealism, religious fervour and unquestionable integrity (a trait rare in any Dyellian).
