Amanda Elleana Williams sometimes known as Dr. Purity is a most noteable Anti-Drug campainger in Kanami and even went on internationally. Her campaing and mission has drawn much praise and criticism from both sides of the debate.

Early Life

Born to well to do family in Port Kyohomi Kanami she was the only child of Ally and Yuki Norwau (her father was actually Kuronan) although her family was quite well to do in Kanami, her father was often home sick for Kurona, and he frequantly moved them back and forth, between the bustling city and a wide open country.

College Years

When Amanda went off to College in Carmina Gadalica in 1962, her parent decided to settle down in Kurona. Amanda didn't mind much, despite the long time it took for letters to recive. Amanda began her major in Science, she had a desire to become an astronmer and possibly work for the newly established NASA. Her minor was in modern art, where she met her future husband Albert Williams. She began to steady date Albert, and was planing on proposing to him. At this time the drug culture was steadily growing to an astonishing rate. One night while driving home alone on a lonely road she was stopped, by a man claiming her tire was flat, and he offerd to change it for her. He did so and left. She departed soon after however her car ran off the road when the tire came off. Back again was the same man, he took her at gun point and forced her into the car. Before he took off he forced her to inhale LSD which gave her some very frightning illusions. She came to her senses sometime later and found her self being dragged by him into a filthly men's room. Several came in and out but all were far too stoned to help her.

She was released from his force and allowed to go home. Too afraid to call the police she just wondered the streets batterd. But yet again no one was stable to help. And the drugs had a lasting effect.

Anti-Drug Campaing

Some years later Williams came forward writing a highly-controversial book called Night Terrors: A True Story a chronicle of her accounts. She followed up with Toxicity: How Drugs are Poisining This Country it was a highly controversial expose about the dangers of drug use and how it was leading up to a rise in crime and violent crime against women. Skeptics wrote her book off as fear mongering but the public ate up every word. The book was well known for having a 30 page bilbliography with sources of Williams' alleged facts about the rising counter-drug culture. The book would call to the attention of Senator Bryan Zunigana.

Parliamentry Hearings

Pretty soon the Comission for the Purity of Food Drink and the Enviroment became invovled. They listend to William's endless testiomoney as well as grounded research from both sides. Among the others to testify was noted Doctor Robert Xarvic, a scientist who had been testing the effects of mind altering drugs such as LSD. His testimoney maintained that in all lab experiments with mice, drugs were severly dangerous to everyone's health. On the other side was New age thinker Doctor Mikilla McDonald who maintained drugs were only harmful to the user and not to the general public. However William's testimoney was more damning against McDonalds. Williams had alleged that her assalent had smoked something other than typical tobbaco or canibus and that she was still feeling the long term effects of it. The Comission agreed with Williams and gave their reports to the Prime Minister. He ordered legislation be passed on this, and Amanda's Law was born. The law gave an automatic death sentance to anyone who commits a violent crime while on drugs. In addition, it revoked the rights of parents who did drugs and madated they be fixed.

School Work

Williams didn't stop at legislating. Pretty soon she went around educating everyone including school aged children about the dangers of drugs. She left no school untouched, from elementry to high school to college. Critics have accused her of overzellously stating her facts and brainwashing children, though many have disagreed. Amanda even served as an Anti-Drug Teacher for a specialized Drug Education class created in all Kanami grade schools. Williams taught at Carmina Elementry for about 4 years before retiring to raise a family.

Books

Williams wrote several books about the horror stories associated with drugs. Some her her most noted books were: Drugs and the Failing Family Cold and Alone and pretty soon her own story would be published.

Television and Film

Williams was interviewed many times on national TV and even on International. She always told the same story about the dangers and evils of dugs and how they were the root of a destabelized society. Williams protested the film I'm So High because of it's pro-drug use. But that wasn't the only one. Several other films she protested their arrival or making in Kanami because they would encourage all drug use and anarchy. She was influental and managed to keep the clamp on anything that hinted pro-drugs. Several television programs were developed including the Anti-Drug Campaing that would air on commercials. The commercials were frightning and graphic. The film Dreamz was a movie centered around the anti-drug campaing. Williams had acted as producer of the movie and made it as graphic and frighting as she could.

In Memorium

Willams is Kanami's most controversial figure. Many have seen her as a hero and many have seen her as a tyrant and fearmonger. Following the 2006 film The Hunted Alex Thorton announced he would tackle the life story of Williams including her famed anti-drug crusade.
