The Ambaran Christian Democrats are the governing party in the Colonial Legislature of Pantocratorian Ambara, occupying thirty-seven (37) seats in the parliament. In the first legislature they had a plurality but couldn't secure enough support from independents to form government - they lost the plurality they enjoyed in the second round of elections. In the 2007 election, they won a majority in their own right - the first party to do so in Pantocratorian Ambara.
