Ameranta formerly housed dozens of nations played by users from the IMDb "Fahrenheit 9/11" messageboard, but most of its members later died from inactivity. A small feud with Nationalistica marked its birth, and later on its founder, the Democratic Republic of Vandross, caused a stir when it started kicking dictatorships from the region. Within two months, most of its nations had died out, though current, active UN nations Cobdenia and Omigodtheykilledkenny have historical ties to the region.
