History

The Founding

Amidonia's history has an interesting tale to it. Earliest records tell of a small fleet of sailing vessels gone out to explore new regions of water in which to fish as the waters they had come from grew barren from over fishing. It is said they landed on the main island of Amidonia and named it Jonaston after their rumored homeland, which to date still has not been properly identified.

The fish in the area kept them from moving on and encouraged them to settle on Jonaston. Soon a full sized village grew up at the mouth of the island's main river which they named Amidon after their first leader, Captain Douglas Amidon. Soon the village came to bare the same name.

The Organization

Amidon grew over the years from a small fishing village into a self sufficiant town. All contact with their former lands had been lost and no attempts to reconnect were made. As Amidon grew people ventured further up the river forming new villages. Amidon became the unofficial capital of a new fledgling civilization.
