The Anarchist League of Pacitalia is a minor anarchist political party in the Democratic Capitalist Republic of Pacitalia. The party was created in 2001 from Green members dissatisfied with the "unlibertarian" policies of their fellow caucus members. In response, they formed the Anarchist League of Pacitalia, but have not been able to win any seats in federal elections. However, they have managed to commit a well-known, high-profile Green senator to the anarchist cause, and the senator, Signore Alfonso Gorinano, will be running as an Anarchist in 2006. It is expected he will win his race and thusly become the first elected Anarchist in Pacitalian history.
