Andrew Skye is one of only two Derralian Military Staff allowed into the Derralian Parliament when it is in session due to laws banning the presence of a serving military officer. As head of the Freedom Party his main role is to communicate between the Derralian Parliament when is session and the Derralian military staff. It is a loophole in the Derralian law that allows Andrew's position and it is a welcome loophole as many a time in Derralian history the Freedom party has been able to swing a vote one way or the other. Andrew's position is a lame duck position though as in accordance with the Derralian law he is not permitted to enter a presidential race as that would essentially mean that the military was in control of Derralia on a day to day basis which after the Valertinettean occupation is something no Derralian wants.
