Angelos Prokopsis has been touted by many as the future of Starblaydi goalkeeping, the latest in a long line of great Starblaydi 'keepers .

When his home-town team of Hecia (Hecia F.C. actually represents the province of Hecia, though they play their games in the provincal captial of Ionia) were amalgamanted into Liga Starblaydia, many people thought it would be Hecia's undoing, as they were safe in the middle of the old Gamma Division. The move to play the 'big boys', however, paid off handsomely for Hecia. Their strike force of Illias Provatidis and Michalis Mitrofanis stepped up to the challenge, as did the defence, marshalled expertly by Captain Armand Gianunzio. Prokopsis in goal, however, was the gem of the whole bunch.

A string of excellent performances by Angelos - and the entire team - catapulted them to finish 2nd in the League by the time Liga Starblaydia Season 1 had closed. For his efforts, Angelos was named as the inaugural Goalkeeper of the Year, setting the benchmark for all who would follow, even at such a young age.

His abilities earned him a move to Lonngeylin City in the Vilitan Stellar Division, who were buying up all sorts of Starblaydi talent at the time. In return, Hecia gained the services of Vilitan 'keeper Alioum Mané, who has never really caught the imagination, despite Hecia managing to finish 3rd in Season 2.

From Lonngeylin City, Angelos soon earned himself a transfer to the greatest club side in the world, Yeaddin Owls. Though unable to break into the Starting XI, the effect on being at such a great club surrounded by such great players was plain to see. Angelos was sent out on loan around the Stellar Divison to keep his skills in top form, before finally handing in a transfer request after VLeague Season 18 and earning a move to Marine Coast United, where he was immediately named Foreign Keeper of the Year for Season 19.

He has also picked up two Third-Placed Medals and a Runners-Up medal at the Under-21 World Cup, as well as having a long-running 'feud' with a Starblaydi 'Golden Generation' member, the Under-21 World Cup Winner Corominas.

Angelos wore the Number-One jersey for Starblaydia in the Championship-winning World Cup 25 side, setting him apart - by acheivements alone - as Starblaydia's best ever man between the posts.
