Antarctica City is the capital city of Antarctic Region.

Location

The city is situated on the coast at the 120°W meridian. The city is situated on an ice shelf, with mountains on the north and south sides. The east and west sides of the city are open, with port access at the edges of the ice shelf.

Climate

Nights are long due to Antarctica's position on the globe. Temperatures range from -20°F to 20°F. Winds from the west and east tend to create wind chill problems.

Layout

Two main roads transverse the region and meet in the city. The Coastal Highway runs along the coast, and the Meridian Highway runs from the Coastal Highway to the geographic South Pole.
