Antigonia is one of sixteen apertures making up the Second Pacitalian Republic. By area, it ranks fifth among apertures; by population, it ranks second behind only Beracanto. Antigonia is a key component of Pacitalia's agricultural and raw materials output and its largest city, Nortopalazzo is a cultural, economic, financial and political hub for the aperture, ranking as the second largest in the country behind the national capital, Timiocato. Antigonia is also among the most homogenous apertures in Pacitalia, with 91 percent of its population being Pacitalian (against a national average of 63 percent).
