A well-regarded photographer, Binks has had several national and international exhibitions of his work.

Anton Binks was a prominent businessman and political king-maker in the Confederation of Sovereign States. He was an early supporter of businessman Thomas Caine in his efforts to win the presidency and unseat President Ilmars Alderson. It is rumoured that Binks played a key role in gaining support for Caine in the state of Deandra and other areas where Caine's Liberty Party was not expected to do well.

Following Caine's election as President in 2004, Binks was named Secretary of Commerce and Trade Promotion.
