Arakesh is another ancient language of PEEL that has been significantly reduced by newer languages, such as Zlevic and Tuetsch. It shares a lot with Hulan in its age and its own influence, but differs as it actually has an recognisable alphabet. Alphabet was coined from the very first system of letters set out in the Vellos language but in truth, they existed in Arakesh for, at an estimate, about two hundred years before Vellos is credited with them. Given their geographic locations near to each other, it's likely the Vellos got the idea from the Mayans, who used Arakesh. Arakesh was probably the original language of much of the Morbo Strait and possible further north. It has persevered in Mayatia and is now an official language of the Union of Soviet Tschazanovite Republics
