Arappa

Arappa is a Kiravian penal colony occupying an undesireable outcropping of land on a distand subcontinent.

History

Arappa was discovered by Kirverdan explorer Irjhon Elkhorn in 2101, and was noted in his log as:

"A god forsaken outcropping of sandstone. I sent a team to explore it, to find supplies to replenish our stores. THey returned, saying that it was barren and treacherous. They spoke of no natives, no settlements, no plants, for there were none. Only barren coastal desert filled this wretched land."

In thirty years, Kiravian colonization had reahed a new height. Kiravians were setting up shop everywhere they could find. Crime becane rampant in some large Kiravian cities. Not wanting to overburden their prisons, Kirav needed someplace else to send them. Arappa hit the spot. A prison was constructed, and prison ships full of convictspopulated the new jail colony. Arappa was born.
