The Arbad Isles were claimed by Bostopia in 1783. The Arbad Isles were the scene of the Great Dividing War, however, no-one knows the exact spot of the battle, as the Arbad Isles are littered with battlegrounds.

However, there is talk of a joint Bosto-Vladmiristaki effort to search the Islands that make up the Arbad Isles to find the spot of the battle.

Bostopia lost the Arbad Isles in the peace agreement with Vladmiristak and Autumno, giving Vladmiristak full control of Islands that lie only a few hundred miles from the Bostopian coast.

However, due to Emperor Boston's craftiness, a microdot and a furthur war against Vladmiristak, Bostopia regained half the islands - the area furthest away from Bostopia, and half of the main (known as Capital Isle) Isle. Bostopia also gained half of Arbad City in this agreement.

The Arbad Islands were furthur torn by war after Bostopian troops fired on civilians attempting to cross into Vladmiristaki controlled Arbad City. However, the troops hit a Vladmiristaki soldier, creating a full scale military conflict, in which most of the city was destroyed.
