History

Arcadia is named for a mythical utopia. This region of the game NationStates was created by the Kingdom of Rotas. The region remained rather peaceful until the Holy Empire of Arkatahten engaged in warfare with other nations of the region. The UN delegate, Neuropica, finally imposed a temporary banishment on Arkatahten and updated the region's fact book to reflect those recent events. Et in Arcadia ego..."Death is even in Arcadia." But peace has returned to the region.

Economy

The official regional currency is the Silver Arca. The Silver Arca promotes and simplifies trade within the region. Not all of the member nations employ this currency.
