History
Arcadia is named for a mythical utopia. This region of the game NationStates was created by the Kingdom of Rotas. The region remained rather peaceful until the Holy Empire of Arkatahten engaged in warfare with other nations of the region. The UN delegate, Neuropica, finally imposed a temporary banishment on Arkatahten and updated the region's fact book to reflect those recent events. Et in Arcadia ego..."Death is even in Arcadia." But peace has returned to the region. Though Arkatahten's banishment has expired, Arkatahten has stayed away, but Kilahlahua Isles, a sub-nation of Arkatahten, remains.
Economy
The official regional currency is the Silver Arca. The Silver Arca promotes and simplifies trade within the region, Although it is not necessary that it is implemented in all member states.
