Archadios (formally known as The Scum Of Archadios) is a proud nation, built on its economy, but widely known for its inhospitable landscape punctuated by nuclear craters and one gigantic sprawling city, which holds such a large percentage of the population it takes 4 decimal places before it stops rounding to 100% of the peoples. It strives to become a heavy economic superpower, and is willing to sacrifice most human rights to get there. Currently it is the only nation known to be run by a 7 year old girl, Lisha. Slavery of criminals or foreigners is promoted, as is shooting protestors and letting invalids suffer.

History
History of Archadios is hard to uncover due to the destructive nature of the country, along with the spy paranoia floating around, and so this can only be seen as a mix of rumors and lie. Previously this nation was a mere state governed by the United States of America, under a different name, but after a severe carpet nuclear attack on the USA by China, the states separated and so Archadios is joined to New America only geographically. Of course, the nation currently lies in Wysteria; crack researchers are trying to uncover the mystery of the flying country. The attack has been codenamed "The China Fiasco" and Paramount have secured the movie rights. Less than a year after the nuclear attacks Archadios regained economic safety and became in the best position to inflict revenge on China. The nation claims to have completed this task, though without dropping a single bomb. Supreme Leader Lisha explains, "Rebel had a strong hold on the country providing many millions of jobs, and with most of the company's shares being owned by yours truly it was a simple task of withdrawing the company after the surprise hostility." Since this incident the company has once again globalised into China, operated externally from Wysteria.
Landscape
The landscape is a mix of either agriculture or forests and inhospitable mountains. Every natural resource that can be sold is doing just that, with heavy links from all the small colonies surrounded by resources funneling straight into the city of Archadios to be turned into shoes, jewellery, small plastic model armies, or anything else with a ridiculous markup.
Arms Manufacturing
Since the China Fiasco arms manufacturing has become a large sector of the economy, under the assumtion that people who own a gun will be better at firing it. The military has a heavy influence on the country's population and is given permission to take children at a young age for training, or genetically enhance soldiers if it so chooses. Recently one particular nearby nation fell under attack from another nation, and so Archadios has proved the effectiveness of its military. It then proceeded to emply the country for sub-minimum wage at Rebel and shoot down any planes heading to or from the UN.
Law and Order
Law and order is a further heavy influence in Archadios, necessary for the number of possible crimes in the region such as "speaking against the supreme leader" or "traitorous protesting". Lisha is currently having discussions with the head of the police to see whether the whole trial process can be removed and save millions of Aces. Also being debated is whether scrapping sentences other than the death penalty would be sensible, so that people who don't stay in line die. The UN has expressed concern over both of these becoming a reality in the same state, but Archadios has a history of literally flying off when under threat in the region.
Duelling
Duelling has been decided by the courts as a fair way of resolving issues, and as long as at least one fighter signs legal duel forms these may take place with the death of one or both of the fighters perfectly legally. These forms do not need to be signed in advance, and only one signature is required. However, with the large influence of the USA still prominent, should one fighter be wounded but not killed they are highly likely to sue the other fighter for damages. Because of this, a method called Overkill has been developed, wherupon a single wound be inflicted the unwounded fighter is expected to kill the other entirely. This has left large areas for stylish "one-liners" to be said, and so freelance writers are currently in high demand.
Rebel
Rebel is one of the most dominating shoes companies the world has ever known. Over a million people are shareholders, and with no one person publicly having a significant percentage of the company many people are dubious about it's future. However it keeps producing designs, and so the media have formed the theory that it is in reality run by underground molemen. Though it may sound ridiculous, one of Lisha's advisors, Alex Clinton, has hinted towards this being a fact, through winks and nudges towards reporter and part time prostitute Traci Ewin during stating the nonfactuality of this statement. He is due to be hung for treason this Thursday.
Sport and Leisure
There is no such thing as free time. Free time has been in turn replaced by Relaxation Allocations wherupon you are working towards becoming more relaxed. One has to have a senior sign for this, and should they choose not to then you may not stop working until Sleeping Allocations, a period in the day lasting from 11pm to 5am. If the worker is legally registered as a slave however (which can be done for free by the employer to improve the worker's productivity), then this allocation may be skipped. However, during Relaxation Allocation, some vague forms of sport have arisen. The first of which is of course duelling which has been mentioned previously in this article. The second most prominent sport is known as Gangrape, where a large group of peoples of either sex stand in a circle around a person with glasses, and proceed to Gangrape them. This is then followed by Overkill as previously mentioned to make sure they will not sue.
