Archipelago is a recently created region on Nation States which was founded in May 2006. The region has an infinite number of islands of which so far less than half are populated by 11 different nations. The Region is hoping to gain power and grow larger in the impending future. Archipelago now has a forum at [1]where you can take part in discussions effecting the way Archipelago moves forward.

History

The Southern Islands of Wallbank was originally part of a region called Eastern Islands which was founded in February this year. Unfortunately the region was invaded by a much larger one (New Folsom) after New Folsom had accussed Eastern Islands of conspiring to invade them, a number of nations from Eastern Islands were reported to the moderators for having multiple nations with multiple United Nations status and their UN delegate reportedly faked his own death - whether he is alive or not remains a mystery.The Nations accussed were subsequently banned. Every other nation received a telegram claiming they had several nations all with United Nations status and promptly a few of the nations fled (Connonburg, Popes Hard Liners and Myself are some examples). This led to The Southern Islands of Wallbank giving birth to the Region of Archipelago which has since overtaken the shambles that is left of Eastern Islands.

As of Late August 2007, a bitter conflict has erupted within the region. This has led to numerous departures, and the death of the region is noew presumed to be a 'when', rather than an 'if'.
