The Ariddian national rugby union team represents the People’s Democratic Social Republic of Ariddia. However, it includes a high number of players from other parts of the Ariddian Isles.

In their very first participation, in World Cup 8, the Ariddians surprised the rugby world by reaching the final, only narrowly losing out on a championship title to hosts Solenial. Their record in the Cup was seven wins and two losses, both of the latter by a margin of only three points. The team's success gave the sport a large boost in popularity in the Ariddian Isles.

Particularities

The team’s main jersey is red, and its alternate jersey is black; these are the Ariddian national colours.

The Rouge Rogues perform the ulek at the start of every match – a tradition borrowed from Ariddia’s national football team.

The Ariddian team is also notable in that it includes female players: Brooks, Ntobo, O’Donovan and Dulunaire.
