Ariddia's presence at the Arcadian Ylompic Games will be overseen by the Ariddian Olympic Committee (C.O.A). The delegation's official sports' code is ARI.

The PDSRA's delegation consists in thirty-six athletes, plus a four-man relay team in athletics and twelve teams for various team sports. The flag-bearer for the Opening Ceremony has not yet been announced.

The delegation is much smaller than that which took part in the Tyrellian Ylompic Games. It is also very different in other ways. It contains a few famous "veteran" champions, and a great number of novice athletes who are being given their first opportunity to compete on the international stage.

Among the experienced athletes are Youssef Kasmba (archery), gold medallist at both the Tyrellian Ylompics and the first Summer Olympics, and Christina Zhang (fencing), also a gold medallist at both the Tyrellian Ylompics and the first Summer Olympics. The "core" of the Ariddian delegation, however, are its ten judokas, with an impressive line-up:

  • Admina Mwakingwe won silver in Tyrellia and gold in Ashford.
  • Julie Lanza came fourth in Tyrellia and won silver in Ashford.
  • At Suwil won gold in Tyrellia and silver in Ashford.
  • Darren Foams came fourth in Tyrellia and won bronze in Ashford.
  • Joseph Kabir was not present in Tyrellia, but won bronze in Ashford.
  • Adam Jameson won gold in Tyrellia and gold again in Ashford.
  • Olivier Aleksanyan won silver in Tyrellia, but had the great misfortune of facing his compatriot Adam Jameson in the first round in Ashford, a knock-out round, preventing him from making it any further in that competition. The C.O.A. was extremely displeased at the organisers for pitting two such athletes against each other in the first round, but the Committee's protest was to no avail.

Many of Ariddia's champions in other fields will not be taking part. Most notably, the PDSRA's star gymnasts, who swept up twelve medals (of which four gold, and not counting aluminium) in Tyrellia and thirteen medals (of which six gold) in Ashford, have declined to participate.

The rest of the delegation to Arcadia is made up of "novices" - athletes who have never competed at such a level before. The Ariddian Olympic Committee and the Ariddian authorities have explained that they view this as an opportunity to encourage new talent, and to uphold the Olympic spirit - namely, the importance of taking part and doing one's best. These Ariddians will be competing in the fields of athletics and in team sports. They are considered to be among their country's best, but not quite up to top international standards yet.
