A short-lived political party in the Ariddian Isles. It existed only in the PDSRA, although similar small political movements appeared in the two Limean countries.

History & key ideas

The Ariddian Isles Reunification Party (AIReP) was born in 2136 as a single-platform party. It presented itself as a pressure group in favour of re-unification of the Isles, possibly on a federal model.

Having performed reasonably well in the 2139 election, the party entered talks with the ruling Democratic Communist Party, and obtained the creation of an Assistant Secretariat (ministry) for Reunification. The latter was headed by AIReP member David Lumber.

Following the beginning of concrete steps towards reunification -which was achieved in 2144- the party disbanded and fused back into the DCP.
