Armand Boyer was once hailed as 'the Next Big Thing' in Giant Zucchini football. He currently plays for Gallo FC in the Giant Zucchini Premier League as a central attacking midfielder and the Giant Zucchini national team in a more reserved midfield role. He has all the qualities of an all round midfield general, including fitness, strength, accurate passing and a strong tackle. Although not the quickest of players, he also poses a great attacking threat with his shooting ability and control over the ball. He wears the number 10 shirt for Gallo FC and the number 16 shirt for his country, although in his prime he used to wear the number 8.

One of the young stars in the run up to Giant Zucchini's World Cup 25 qualifying campaign, Boyer impressed enough to be the main star of "Own Goal!", a mini-series by the Giant Zucchini Broadcasting Corporation. In the qualifying proper, Boyer did not attract much attention, but did his job admirably well in the centre of the park. Domestically, Boyer took his attacking midfield role to the next level, scoring 8 goals in 14 matches, a record envied even by some strikers in the league. His work in the team contributed significantly to Gallo FC's title triumph that season. (Season 1)

Gallo FC had a poor start in Season 2, crashing out of the NationStates Champions League and failing to win any games in the first half of the season, leaving them bottom of the table with 3 points. However, Gallo FC had a revival in the second half of the season, winning all their remaining 7 games. Boyer netted 5 goals in those 7 games, cementing Gallo FC 2nd place in the league and an NSFA Cup spot. Meanwhile, the National Team had qualified for the World Cup, and Boyer was enjoying some success in his slightly more advanced role. However, with the rise of brilliant young talents such as Johann Rilke and Arturo Bardi, Boyer has found it hard to impress in his second international season.
