Arnold Watson Wyle is a former Prime Minister of The Republic of Hallevor. He is the third Prime Minister since the Revolution against the Communist Government. He has been re-elected six times for two year terms.

Background

Arnold Wyle was born to a worker's family in the Graham's Communist Vanguard of Carlesburg on New Years Eve 1936 at 11:59. He was raised as a Communist Christian but fell in with a crowd of students who eventually joined the revolt against Comrade Graham. He didn't entirely adopt the Minarchist philosophy but he subscribed to a few of their theories. He still had old traditionalist theories of his own but he was with the revolution. He had despised the dictatorship on philosophical grounds. Wyle was intellegent and at an early age got to go to Warren University. He studied mostly art and philosophy, and is known to have had numerous romantic affairs at this time. When he graduated at age thirty the Civil War broke out. He joined the rebel army and eventually climbed the ranks to commander. When the war ended he retired for a short while and lived off of inheritence from his parents-in-laws' death.

Political Roles

Eventually Wyle's name fell back in the press. In Augest 4th, 1989 Wyle announced an unexpected candidacy for Prime Minister. His popularity during the war put him in the polls above everyone else. He was running as an independant but then the Socialist Party seized him up. He gained candidacy in 1990 and started adding a moral backbone to the government. He is known for ignoring the economy and leaving it to his cabinet. He also became popular for smoothing out diplomatic relations between Hallevor and neighboring nations. In 2003 an assassination attempt was made on his life by Eric Stein, a violent proponent of Anarchism. He was shot five times in the chest and miraculously survived. He decided not to run again.

Hudson Scandal

In the Hudson Office of the Senate Building of Nyrenton; Nicholas Bruce, the Minister of Economics. Had been meeting with private corporations and taking much of government finances and giving them to the corporations while keeping some for himself. When local journalist recieved a recording from an Anonymous sender in January 2003, the scandal was released to the public. Because Bruce was in Wyle's Ministry, the blame for the extensive economic damage done was placed on Wyle. Wyle fired Bruce and tried to make everything right, but after the attempt on his life he decided to retire. The Media dubbed the story "The Hudson Scandal".

Death

On a New Years Eve party in 2006, Wyle jokingly is known to have said "God will never let me live to see the silver years of seventy." During the party as they were counting down to the new year in the gregorian calendar, Arnold Wyle was shot through the head exactly as he turned 70. Not a minute more or less. The unidentified sniper ran from the police starting in the bushes of the front lawn for more then a mile. He eventually took out a shotgun and killed both policemen and then shot himself in the face. He was killed instantly. His hands were severely burnt so there was no way of identifying him. He was buried as "John Doe".
