Aryavartha

Aryavartha (Land of the Aryans) was the old name of vedic India in samskrtam. It is now geographically located in the region of Tamil Nadu in current India. Its leader is Rajendran named after the illustrous Chola king who conquered upto the banks of Ganges in the north and coastal Burma, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Maldives, Sumatra, Java and Malaya in South East Asia and made the Bay of Bengal as the pond of Cholas.

The political capital is Chennai. The cultural capital is Thanjavur. The currency is the Rupee. The national animal is the Tiger which also adorns the flag of Aryavartha (it was the flag of the Cholas too).
