Overview

The Allied Entente Group of International States Pact (also known as the AEGIS Pact) is a pact/alliance created by California and Alaska that forms an economic and military association among its members that will provide mutual defense, peacekeeping, military assistance should any member be the target of aggression, economic development and trade, application of military forces during international situations, and to unite the nations of the world with similar aspirations. There is no restriction on membership — any nation may ratify the AEGIS Pact and join this coalition, except (by general agreement) puppets.

Preamble of the AEGIS Pact

This pact was drafted and executed by each of its signatory nations, of whose leaders have dedicated themselves to establishing an association of nations that would create a diplomatic alliance between all members of the AEGIS Pact, who are dedicated to the preservation of peace and diplomacy between all pact members, a promise of mutual defense and to the protection of any members from any enemy be it foreign or domestic.

We, the signatories of this pact also dedicate ourselves to tge establishment of a Free Trade Association between all pact members to strengthen our economies, a combined coalition military force to ensure the protection of all pact members from attack, as well as a peacekeeping force to give aid to nations worldwide, preserve peace and restore order in nations at conflict with each other, as well as the application of military forces should the need arise.

Acceptance of New Signatory Nations

Acceptance of new pact members will be done on a sponsorship only basis, nations who wish to become signatory nations must seek a sponsor among the existing membership. Once a signatory nation has accepted the sponsorship of an AEGIS member they shall bring said nation before the Supreme Council for consideration with all due haste, the application is then brought to a vote before the Supreme Council with a two-thirds majority vote required for acceptance. Any signatory nation may at any time veto the application.

Non-Aggression Agreement & Resolution of Disputes

Non-Aggression Agreement

No member of the AEGIS Pact is permitted to commit an act of aggression against another member of this coalition. Should any member of the AEGIS Pact commit an act of aggression against another member of this coalition, they will be expelled from this coalition indefinitely.

Resolution of Disputes

All members of the AEGIS Pact and any potential members of the AEGIS Pact are required to settle all existing disputes they may have with all nations who they are at dispute with, all disputes are to be settled diplomatically. Should any dispute arise between any AEGIS member, they will be expelled from this coalition until such dispute has been resolved.

Respecting the Governments of AEGIS Members

All AEGIS members will have respect the governments of all AEGIS Pact members should their governments be liberal, conservative, democratic, socialist, communist, fascist or a dictatorship. It is not any policy of AEGIS to judge any member by their government or political ideals.

Assurance of Defense & Aid

Mutual Defense Agreement

All AEGIS Pact members are to come to the defense of other members within this pact should they become the target of aggression from any nation.

Defense of Sovereignty and Integrity

All AEGIS members will not permit the dismemberment of another AEGIS member, all pact members are to defend the sovereignty and the integrity of all AEGIS members should they come under attack from a nation that would endanger the sovereignty and integrity of an AEGIS Pact member

Refusing AEGIS Defense

All AEGIS Pact members may forgo the Mutual Defense article of this pact if they are involved in a conflict with another nation (or more than one nation) that they are capable of defeating and temporarily refuse aid from AEGIS for the duration of the conflict with their enemy(s), if they wish to do so while remaining a member of AEGIS.

Mutual Aid Agreement

All nations of the Accord will aid each other in case it becomes a victim of aggression or in case of natural disaster.

Military Equipment Trade

Escorting Military Equipment

All AEGIS Pact members will agree to have armed escorts accompany all military equipment shipped between AEGIS Pact members.

Sharing of Military Equipment

All AEGIS Pact members are permitted to share military equipment produced by each member nation, every AEGIS pact member may manufacture their military equipment but are not permitted to sell said equipment or technologies used by other AEGIS member militaries to any non-member.

Combined Coalition Military Force & Funding

Combined Coalition Military Forces

All members of the AEGIS Pact will commission 35,000 combat troops or the equivalent of their armed forces to the Combined Coalition Military Force, which will be governed by the Supreme Allied Commander of AEGIS Forces (SAC-AEGIS).

CCMF Funding

All members of the AEGIS Pact will maintain CCMF Fund for funding the Combined Coalition Military Force, to which each nation will contribute the equivalent of $1,000,000,000 USD per year. This money will be used to create a Combined Coalition Military Force for the protection of the members of the AEGIS Pact.

Elections & Leadership

Elections of AEGIS Leaders

All members of the AEGIS Pact will elect all officials needed to maintain an active leadership of this coalition, should an office become vacant another election will be held to determine the best person suitable for the position.

AEGIS Leadership

All elected officials who are charged with leading the AEGIS Pact are to maintain an active and dedicated leadership until they resigns their position or their term of office comes to an end.

AEGIS Peacekeeping Force

All AEGIS Pact members will put together a peacekeeping force to be used to establish and restore peace to the conflicted regions of the world and to apply military force when needed to ensure that peace is maintained.

Application of Forces & Military Operations

Application of Forces

All AEGIS Pact members have the option to participate when an event calls for the application of military forces. All participating AEGIS Pact members must come to a two-thirds majority vote before making the decision on the application of military forces to any location worldwide and will do so on a case-by-case basis.

Military Operations

All AEGIS military operations must be decided before the AEGIS Supreme Council before making the decision to declare war, and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, if attacked the decision will fall into the hands of the Supreme Allied Commander of AEGIS Forces (SAC-AEGIS).

AEGIS Military Bases

All AEGIS Pact members have the option of having an AEGIS governed military base placed on their soil for their protection and to facilitate the mobilization of AEGIS Forces worldwide.
