The Asgarnian Tropical Weather Monotoring System (ATWMS) is composed of close to 75 monotoring buoys stationed throughout the waters surrounding Asgarnieu. It is designed to monitor and warn of incoming tsunamis, storms, earthquakes, or high waves. It has proved effective time and time again.

Warning System

Each buoy is linked to a transmitting unit on the seabed, connected by a chain. When the chain is pulled, the buoy transmits a signal to a satellite, which relays the signal back to the monotoring station, on Ruppio Island.

If a cell or wave is determined to be threatening any of the monitered nations, transmission is made, prompting meterologists to issue a warning or watch.
