[OOC note: please ignore the yellow/green color scheme on some of the vessels. They're all supposed to be silver/blue]

Atlantian Weapon Stats

The mainstay of the Atlantian arsenal consists of Orcalic weaponry. Orichalcum is a metal not native to Earth, but can be found throughout Atlantian (and former Atlantian) territory which has strange electromagnetic properties. It is often used as decoration due to its beautiful crimson color (and hue), but is also the chosen weapon of the Atlantian fleet, as its electromagnetic properties can be utilized as a red “laser”.

Most ships in the Atlantian navy are equipped with a device known as an “Expanding Sphere Generator”, or “ESG”. A powerful sphere of Orcalic energy is projected around a vessel for a short while, protecting against missiles, mines, and other physical weapons. It can also be used offensively, to “ram” another vessel by getting close to it.

Gravity Mines are, contrary to their names, not based on gravity. Rather, they are magnetic, and can remain cloaked and dormant for long periods of time before a ship gets near enough to them for a signal to go off, at which point they attach to the ship and explode with antimatter explosives.

Ablative Armor has always been a part of the Atlantian defense system. However, due to recent jumps in nanotechnology, the nature of this protection has changed. Now, it can remain “dormant” until red alert is activated, at which point replicators all over the hull of the ship create a thick armor that seems to “slide” over the hull.

Atlantian Capital Ship Stats

The Omega project was designed in the hopes of creating a mobile starbase, designed to go toe to toe with Phalanxian dreadnoughts. A ten kilometer dreadnought complete with shipyards for repair and resupply. Only one vessel, the AIV Omega, was created out of the project before it was first scrapped, then reopened and downsized. The Omega was destroyed while under the command of Ascendancy forces during the battle of Allos.

When the project was reopened shortly after the war, it was downsized to a six-km mega battleship, who’s job was to support and resupply an attack fleet as needed. Renamed the Titan project, several ships were commissioned for use.

The Titan is the resident big boy on the block, with enough firepower to destroy a small moon if need be. It’s biggest weapon is the Quadlaser Orcalic Cannon, which is designed to be aimed at large unmoving targets, like a fellow super battleship, or a starbase, …or a planet. The results can be devastating, resulting in the destruction of whole cities. A group of Titans (supplemented by other capital ships) can level a planet’s surface in a matter of minutes.

Drones are a new addition to the fleet. Three meter “pods” are launched without a physical pilot. In reality, each one is piloted by a limited AI program. The size and the fact that it is controlled fully by a computer (as well as thrusters) allow these vessels to spin about on their axis at will without having to “turn” to go another direction. They can also be signaled to set a self-destruct mechanism and perform a kamikaze attack on an enemy ship with antimatter or nuclear explosives.

Horus Class Carrier

horusbattlecruiser9ug.jpg

  • Length: 2.5 Kilometers
  • Crew Compliment: 1,000
  • Maneuverability: Very Low
  • Defenses:
    • Hull-Hugging Shields: Insanely High
    • Advanced Ablative Armor: Yes
    • Cloaking Device: Yes
  • Weaponry:
    • Orcalic Pulse Turrets: 200
    • Light Orcalic Beam Turrets: 25
    • Heavy Orcalic Beam Cannons: 6
    • Plasma Cannons: 75
    • Missile Batteries: 30
    • Disruptor Cannons: 30
    • Expanding Sphere Generator: Yes
    • Gravity Mines
  • Tractor Beam
  • Fightercraft: 150
  • Drones: 300

When it was decided that the Titan would be too expensive to mass-produce, the fleet came up with a new idea. A smaller, more manageable version of the Titan, in league with the Leviathan. To this end, the Horus was created, to be an “auxiliary” carrier. It can’t act as an auxiliary port like the Titan, and thus cannot support fleets on long-range assignments, but it is a very useful addition to the fleet, as it allows for mass amounts of fightercraft and drones to be launched without having to call in the larger Titan.

Leviathan Class Dreadnought

leviathandreadnoughtbf7.jpg

  • Length: 1.5 Kilometers
  • Crew Compliment: 900
  • Maneuverability: Low
  • Defenses:
    • Hull-Hugging Shields: Very High
    • Advanced Ablative Armor: Yes
    • Cloaking Device: Yes
  • Weaponry:
    • Orcalic Pulse Turrets: 150
    • Light Orcalic Beam Turrets: 15
    • Heavy Orcalic Beam Cannons: 5
    • Plasma Cannons: 50
    • Missile Batteries: 15
    • Disruptor Cannons: 20
    • Expanding Sphere Generator: Yes
    • Gravity Mines: N/A
    • Neutron Destabilizer
  • Tractor Beam
  • Fightercraft: 50
  • Drones: 100

The Leviathan is the flagship of the fleet. While both the Horus and the Titan are larger, the Leviathan was created to be a fleet leader, able to act like a large battle cruiser, along with a small compliment of fighters and drones. The AIV Olympia, the personal vessel of Admiral Vega, is the flagship for the entire Atlantian fleet.

The Leviathan is also equipped with a “Neutron Destabilizer”. This is a heavy weapon, which can take almost an entire battle to recharge. As such, it may only be seen a handful of times in a battle, depending on how many Leviathans are participating. When unleashed, a powerful purple beam is shot at an enemy vessel. It strips away the neutrons of an atom, causing the atoms to destabilize and fall apart. The resulting chaos creates mass amounts of radiation, rapidly destroys the hull, and causes extra damage as the free-flying subatomic molecules hit other atoms, splitting them apart as well. It is truly a devastating weapon.

Asguard Class Battleship

asguardbattlecruiseraa2.jpg

  • Length: 800 Meters
  • Crew Compliment: 600
  • Maneuverability: Below Average
  • Defenses:
    • Hull-Hugging Shields: Very High
    • Advanced Ablative Armor: Yes
    • Cloaking Device: Yes
  • Weaponry:
    • Orcalic Pulse Turrets: 125
    • Light Orcalic Beam Turrets: 15
    • Heavy Orcalic Beam Cannons: 3
    • Plasma Cannons: 40
    • Missile Batteries: 10
    • Disruptor Cannons: 15
    • Expanding Sphere Generator: Yes
    • Gravity Mines: N/A
    • Hellbore Cannon
  • Tractor Beam
  • Fightercraft: 25
  • Drones: 50

The Asguard was designed to be a “supporter” for the larger Leviathan, Horus, and Titan classes. It can often be seen flying side-by side with these larger vessels, adding their firepower to their own. However, the Asguard is also easily capable of serving as a “replacement” Leviathan, leading fleets in its own right.

The Hellbore cannon is another recent addition. When unleashed, the Asguard simply charges up a good deal of its energy and dumps it on the opposing vessel in a powerful double-beam of light. It is extremely dangerous for the Asguard, however, as if it releases too much of its energy, it will be completely powerless and prone to attack until it can recharge.

Atlantian Cruiser Stats

Anubis Class Assault Cruiser

anubisminelayerhj6.jpg

  • Length: 700 Meters
  • Crew Compliment: 300
  • Maneuverability: Below Average
  • Defenses:
    • Hull-Hugging Shields: Very High
    • Advanced Ablative Armor: Yes
    • Cloaking Device: Yes
  • Weaponry:
    • Orcalic Pulse Turrets: 140
    • Light Orcalic Beam Turrets: 20
    • Heavy Orcalic Beam Cannons: 5
    • Plasma Cannons: 50
    • Missile Batteries: 20
    • Disruptor Cannons: 20
    • Expanding Sphere Generator: Yes
    • Gravity Mines
    • Expanding Shockwave Generator
  • Fightercraft: 25
  • Drones: 40

Also classified as a “minelayer”, the Anubis packs as much firepower as it can into a small of space as it can. Primarily a war vessel, it is a dangerous foe to even fellow capital ships, despite its designation as a cruiser.

The Anubis was designed to be a replacement for both the Leviathan and the Oceanus, small(er) and compact but still capable of unleashing Hades on anything it wanted. However, it was regulated to a cruiser role when it was determined that with such a small crew, the Anubis simply wasn’t up to the task of leading the entire fleet into battle.

However, the Anubis houses an offensive version of the ESG. The Expanding Shockwave Generator creates the same amount of energy, but coalesces it into a wall, and then fires it at the opposing fleet. From there the wall expands in all directions until the energy dissipates.

Oceanus Class Battle Cruiser

oceanusbattlecruiser3pg.jpg

  • Length: 700 Meters
  • Crew Compliment: 500
  • Maneuverability: Average
  • Defenses:
    • Hull-Hugging Shields: High
    • Advanced Ablative Armor: Yes
    • Cloaking Device: Yes
  • Weaponry:
    • Orcalic Pulse Turrets: 115
    • Light Orcalic Beam Turrets: 15
    • Heavy Orcalic Beam Cannons: 3
    • Plasma Cannons: 30
    • Missile Batteries: 13
    • Disruptor Cannons: 13
    • Expanding Sphere Generator: Yes
    • Gravity Mines: N/A
    • Hellbore Cannon
  • Tractor Beam

The Oceanus is an older class in the fleet, having been around since the Neo-Atlantian war. While the Anubis is slowly replacing it, the Oceanus is no less of a deadly adversary when invoked.

Since the civil war, the surviving Oceanus have been updated with new weaponry and defense systems, such as the Advanced Ablative Armor and (surprisingly) the Hellbore cannon.

Gemini Class Heavy Cruiser

geminiheavycruiserbn4.jpg

  • Length: 600 Meters
  • Crew Compliment: 400
  • Maneuverability: Average
  • Defenses:
    • Hull-Hugging Shields: High
    • Advanced Ablative Armor: Yes
    • Cloaking Device: Yes
  • Weaponry:
    • Orcalic Pulse Turrets: 100
    • Light Orcalic Beam Turrets: 12
    • Heavy Orcalic Beam Cannons: 2
    • Plasma Cannons: 27
    • Missile Batteries: 11
    • Disruptor Cannons: 11
    • Expanding Sphere Generator: Yes
    • Gravity Mines: N/A
    • Gemini Projector
  • 100 Drones

Gemini means “Twin”. This fact holds true in more then one fact for the Atlantian standard heavy cruiser. On the obvious side, the Gemini has two secondary hulls. On the sinister side, the Gemini houses its trademark weapon, the “Gemini Projector”

This weapon, when activated, can mask as many drones as there are out on the field into looking like itself. Even sensors are confounded at first glance, until a deeper scan is held. However, by this point the Gemini has likely gone to warp or cloaked. The confusion can be added to as the fake Gemini can cloak and decloak at will as they fly about.

Odin Class Auxiliary Cruiser

odindestroyer9au.jpg

  • Length: 500 Meters
  • Crew Compliment: 200
  • Maneuverability: Above Average
  • Defenses:
    • Hull-Hugging Shields: Above Average
    • Advanced Ablative Armor: Yes
    • Cloaking Device: Yes
  • Weaponry:
    • Orcalic Pulse Turrets: 90
    • Light Orcalic Beam Turrets: 8
    • Heavy Orcalic Beam Cannons: 1
    • Plasma Cannons: 25
    • Missile Batteries: 10
    • Disruptor Cannons: 9
    • Expanding Sphere Generator: Yes
    • Gravity Mines: 50
    • Chain Reaction Pulsar
    • Expanding Shockwave Generator
  • Fightercraft: 10

The Odin was designed to simply be a small version of the Anubis. A “scout” version of an assault cruiser or a mine-layer. It is another new addition to the fleet, taking a vastly different approach to the design of its hull then other Atlantian vessels. This design lineage can also be seen with the Einheriar class bombers. However, it was decided that a smaller version of the Anubis could not be designed and still be successful (as even the Anubis had its problems). As such, there are revetivly fewer Odins in service then what was initally planned.

Orion Class Light Cruiser

orionlightcruiserqi0.jpg

  • Length: 450 Meters
  • Crew Compliment: 300
  • Maneuverability: High
  • Defenses:
    • Hull-Hugging Shields: Average
    • Advanced Ablative Armor: Yes
    • Cloaking Device: Yes
  • Weaponry:
    • Orcalic Pulse Turrets: 80
    • Light Orcalic Beam Turrets: 8
    • Heavy Orcalic Beam Cannons: 1
    • Plasma Cannons: 20
    • Missile Batteries: 8
    • Disruptor Cannons: 5
    • Expanding Sphere Generator: Yes
    • Gravity Mines: N/A
    • System Jammer

Named after the late, great senator who was personally responsible for the creation of the (then) United Federation of Atlantis, the Orion has also been given the nickname “the Spy”, due to its special weapon.

The System Jammer can, at long range, scramble anything related to sensors. At medium range it can scramble any system. And at short range, it can (and will) damage or destroy every system onboard a ship. Sometimes this will result in it self-destructing, while other times it will remain lifeless. The Orion can activate it while cloaked (thus its nickname), but the cloak deactivates once the device has been put online. This weapon can only be fired when the Orion is alone, however. If activated in the presence of friendly vessels, they will suffer the same effects.

Atlantian Patrol Ship Stats

Pleiades Class Destroyer

pleiadesdestroyeruc9.jpg

  • Length: 370 Meters
  • Crew Compliment: 300
  • Maneuverability: High
  • Defenses:
    • Hull-Hugging Shields: Average
    • Advanced Ablative Armor: Yes
    • Cloaking Device: Yes
  • Weaponry:
    • Orcalic Pulse Turrets: 60
    • Orcalic Beam Turrets: 7
    • Plasma Cannons: 13
    • Missile Batteries: 5
    • Disruptor Cannons: 5
    • Expanding Sphere Generator: Yes
    • Gravity Mines: N/A

The Pleiades is a standard destroyer, designed to replace the aging Jaguar class destroyers (which have indeed been officially retired at this point). Atlantian ships of this class and smaller are designed for speed and agility over weapons, and so rely on swarm tactics to accomplish objectives. Alternatively, they can be seen providing cover fire for the lager cruisers and capital ships.

Ishtar Class Stealth Destroyer

ishtardestroyer9mf.jpg

  • Length: 370 Meters
  • Crew Compliment: 100
  • Maneuverability: High
  • Defenses:
    • Hull-Hugging Shields: Below Average
    • Advanced Ablative Armor: Yes
    • Cloaking Device: Yes
    • Phase Cloak Device
  • Weaponry:
    • Orcalic Pulse Turrets: 60
    • Orcalic Beam Turrets: 7
    • Plasma Cannons: 5
    • Missile Batteries: 5
    • Disruptor Cannons: 5
    • Expanding Sphere Generator: No
    • Gravity Mines

While the Orion was nicknamed “the spy”, the Ishtar can easily one-up the Orion in that category. The newest ship of the fleet, the Ishtar uses the new (still) experimental “phase cloak”, which turns the ship’s state into a phantom one, with the ability to be both truly invisible and pass through solid matter with ease. However, it can only do so for a short time as it drains a good deal of energy. Because of the amount of space and energy needed for this weapon, the Ishtar is the only military vessel larger then a shuttlecraft not to have an ESG.

Hyperion Class Frigate

hyperiondestroyer7wl.jpg

  • Length: 300 Meters
  • Crew Compliment: 200
  • Maneuverability: Very High
  • Defenses:
    • Hull-Hugging Shields: Below Average
    • Advanced Ablative Armor: Yes
    • Cloaking Device: Yes
  • Weaponry:
    • Orcalic Pulse Turrets: 40
    • Orcalic Beam Turrets: 5
    • Plasma Cannons: 7
    • Missile Batteries: 3
    • Disruptor Cannons: 5
    • Expanding Sphere Generator: Yes
    • Gravity Mines: N/A

The Hyperion was designed to be a “heavy” scout, which could go on longer missions into deeper space, unlike its smaller cousin the Huracan, which was designed for short-range scouting.

Trident Class Corvette

tridentfrigatewk1.jpg

  • Length: 250 Meters
  • Crew Compliment: 80
  • Maneuverability: Extremely High
  • Defenses:
    • Hull-Hugging Shields: Low
    • Advanced Ablative Armor: Yes
    • Cloaking Device: Yes
  • Weaponry:
    • Orcalic Pulse Turrets: 20
    • Orcalic Beam Turrets: 3
    • Plasma Cannons: 3
    • Missile Batteries: N/A
    • Disruptor Cannons: 3
    • Expanding Sphere Generator: Yes
    • Gravity Mines: N/A
    • Trilaser Orcalic Cannon

Another one of Atlantis’s many small patrol ships, the Trident stands out because of its Trilaser cannon, and as such the weapon is most of the ship. It is the only mobile vessel, other then the Titan, to house this kind of firepower. It isn’t as powerful as it’s larger counterpart on the Titan, of course, but it can still be used to punch a hole through a ship many times its size.

Chaac Class Interceptor

chaacfrigate1vn.jpg

  • Length: 200 Meters
  • Crew Compliment: 100
  • Maneuverability: Insane
  • Defenses:
    • Hull-Hugging Shields: Low
    • Advanced Ablative Armor: Yes
    • Cloaking Device: Yes
  • Weaponry:
    • Orcalic Pulse Turrets: 20
    • Orcalic Beam Turrets: 2
    • Plasma Cannons: 1
    • Missile Batteries: N/A
    • Disruptor Cannons: N/A
    • Expanding Sphere Generator: Yes
    • Gravity Mines: N/A

Because of increased attacks on shipping thanks to Zoir pirates and warlords, and Ascendency rebel forces, the Federation designed a new type of interceptor class, smaller then a destroyer but larger then a fighter, which could easily escort convoys of freighters, and defend them from harm. The Chaac uses swarm tactics, as par with most smaller Atlantian vessels.

Huracan Class Scout Ship

huracanscoutshipar3.jpg

  • Length: 150 Meters
  • Crew Compliment: 50
  • Maneuverability: Insane
  • Defenses:
    • Hull-Hugging Shields: Very Low
    • Advanced Ablative Armor: Yes
    • Cloaking Device: Yes
  • Weaponry:
    • Orcalic Pulse Turrets: 15
    • Orcalic Beam Turrets: 1
    • Plasma Cannons: N/A
    • Missile Batteries: N/A
    • Disruptor Cannons: N/A
    • Expanding Sphere Generator: Yes
    • Gravity Mines: N/A
    • Orcalic Web (group attack)

The Huracan is so maneuverable that it can easily keep up with fighter craft, and often serves as a “core” ship for fighters in attacks, where the fighters surround it and they move as almost one unit.

The Huracan is also capable of a special attack when working with a group of its own. When invoked, a series of Orcalic beams are shot from on Huracan to another, forming a network of energy beams. From there, a web develops which can either drive off an enemy ship or trap it until it collapses on the ensnared vessel.

Atlantian Fighter/Bomber/Shuttle Stats

Scarab Class Assault Shuttle

scarabshuttleoz0.jpg

  • Length: 25 Meters
  • Crew Compliment: 1
    • Troop Payload: 25
  • Maneuverability: Low
  • Defenses:
    • Hull-Hugging Shields: Polarized Hullplating
    • Advanced Ablative Armor: No
    • Cloaking Device: No
  • Weaponry:
    • Orcalic Twin Pulse Lasers: 1
    • Mini Plasma Cannons: N/A
    • Missile Launchers: N/A
    • Disruptor Cannons: N/A
    • Hullsplitter

While the Atlantian Army was disbanded with the end of the Atlantian Civil War, a good portion of it was simply re-incorporated into the fleet, as shock troopers for ship-to-ship or ship-to-city fights.

Scarabs can cram up to twenty-five heavily armed humanoid soldiers. Centaurs decrease the amount dramaticly. If this is the case, once in awhile the Atlantian ship will bypass the shuttles and simply force-dock with the offending ship.

The Scarab is not a fighting vessel. As such, it requires a fighter or two to accompany it to keep enemy vessels from destroying it before it reaches its target. When it does, it latches onto the hull and then activates a hull-splitter weapon which can slice through the hull of said vessel.

Phoenix Class Shuttlecraft

phoenixshuttlecrafttg7.jpg

  • Length: 20 Meters
  • Crew Compliment: 15
  • Maneuverability: Average
  • Defenses:
    • Hull-Hugging Shields: Polarized Hullplating
    • Advanced Ablative Armor: No
    • Cloaking Device: No
  • Weaponry:
    • Orcalic Twin Pulse Lasers: 2
    • Mini Plasma Cannons: 1
    • Missile Launchers: N/A
    • Disruptor Cannons: N/A
  • Tractor Beam

Every Atlantian vessel houses at least one Shuttlecraft, which is used to transport people in a peacetime environment without having to use a transporter (which Atlantians fear to use for personal use, as they believe it will destroy one’s soul).

Einheriar Class Bomber

einheriarfighter6aa.jpg

  • Length: 20 Meters
  • Crew Compliment: 1
  • Maneuverability: Average
  • Defenses:
    • Hull-Hugging Shields: Polarized Hullplating
    • Advanced Ablative Armor: No
    • Cloaking Device: No
  • Weaponry:
    • Orcalic Twin Pulse Lasers: 4
    • Mini Plasma Cannons: 2
    • Missile Launchers: 2
    • Disruptor Cannons: 1

One of two vessels with the “alternative” design lineage (the Odin being the other), the Einheriar was designed to be the bomber of the Atlantian fleet. In space it targets larger cruisers and capital ships, while in the air it will target ground targets. However, due to limited success of the bomber (and as other capital ships do the work just as well), the Einheriar is a relatively rare fighter craft.

Barracuda Class Heavy Fighter

barracudaheavyfighterqn5.jpg

  • Length: 18 Meters

Crew Compliment: 1

  • Maneuverability: High
  • Defenses
    • Hull-Hugging Shields: Polarized Hullplating
    • Advanced Ablative Armor: No
    • Cloaking Device: No
  • Weaponry:
    • Orcalic Twin Pulse Lasers: 2
    • Mini Plasma Cannons: N/A
    • Missile Launchers: 1
    • Disruptor Cannons: 1

The “Renaissance Man” of the fightercraft, the Barracuda is both decent at bombarding larger vessels, as well as engaging other fightercraft at medium range. It is faster then the Einheriar, but slower then the Valkyrie. It was a successful design replacement for the ancient Obelisk fighter, after numerous failed replacements (such as the short-lived Manta class).

Valkyrie Class Light Fighter

valkyrielightfighterex8.jpg Length: 15 Meters

  • Crew Compliment: 1
  • Maneuverability: Insane
  • Defenses:
    • Hull-Hugging Shields: Polarized Hullplating
    • Advanced Ablative Armor: No
    • Cloaking Device: No
  • Weaponry:
    • Orcalic Twin Pulse Lasers: 1
    • Mini Plasma Cannons: N/A
    • Missile Launchers: 1
    • Disruptor Cannons: N/A

The Valkyrie is a master of the knife fight. It likes to get in close and personal with its fellow fighters when attacking. This vessel excels at defending targets and fighting off other fighter craft.

Atlantian Non-combat Vessel Stats

Thoth Class Science Frigate

thothscienceshipls9.jpg

  • Length: 300 Meters
  • Crew Compliment: 150
  • Maneuverability: Low
  • Defenses:
    • Hull-Hugging Shields: Average
    • Advanced Ablative Armor: No
    • Cloaking Device: Yes
  • Weaponry:
    • Orcalic Pulse Turrets: 20
    • Orcalic Beam Turrets: N/A
    • Plasma Cannons: 2
    • Missile Batteries: 3
    • Disruptor Cannons: N/A
    • Expanding Sphere Generator: No
    • Gravity Mines

The Thoth is not a military vessel by any stretch of the imagination. It has minimal defenses, and its offensive capabilities are laughable for its size. The small amount of mines it carries with it are reserved for scientific use. These frigates are often the testbeds for new technology, and when they aren’t they can usually be seen investigating spatial anomalies and star systems. The Thoth class is highly regarded as an almost civilian target, despite it being built by and staffed by the Imperial fleet.

Olympus Class Medical Frigate

cerberusheavycruiser4vw.jpg

  • Length: 300 Meters
  • Crew Compliment: 80
  • Patient Limit: 600
  • Maneuverability: Low
  • Defenses:
    • Hull-Hugging Shields: Average
    • Advanced Ablative Armor: No
    • Cloaking Device: Yes
  • Weaponry:
    • Orcalic Pulse Turrets: 20
    • Orcalic Beam Turrets: N/A
    • Plasma Cannons: 2
    • Missile Batteries: 3
    • Disruptor Cannons: N/A
    • Expanding Sphere Generator: No
    • Gravity Mines: N/A

The Olympus was designed during the final days of the Civil War, after Federation forces had retaken several major worlds and once again had a good deal of resources on their side. Upon seeing the destruction of the cities on these major classes, Federation forces drew up plans for a new type of medical frigate. However, due to lack of time and resources, they simply grabbed many older or decommissioned Thoth class science vessels and “kitbashed” them with new parts. Since then, the Olympus has become a more and more common sight, especially among the areas of the Federation where the rebuilding is still ongoing.

Anu Class Minor Freighter

anulightfreightergt0.jpg

  • Length: 200 Meters
  • Crew Compliment: 25
  • Maneuverability: Average
  • Defenses:
    • Hull-Hugging Shields: Low
    • Advanced Ablative Armor: No
    • Cloaking Device: Yes
  • Weaponry:
    • Orcalic Pulse Turrets: 20
    • Orcalic Beam Turrets: 1
    • Plasma Cannons: 5
    • Missile Batteries: 5
    • Disruptor Cannons: 2
    • Expanding Sphere Generator: No
    • Gravity Mines

A mostly defunct class from earlier days when the Federation was still young, the Anu is more often seen in the personal possession of freelance traders. However, some Anu still function in the fleet as intra-system transports for smaller cargos.

Exodus Class Freighter

exodusheavyfreighterpw6.jpg

  • Length: 500 Meters
  • Crew Compliment: 50
  • Maneuverability: Low
  • Defenses:
    • Hull-Hugging Shields: Low
    • Advanced Ablative Armor: No
    • Cloaking Device: Yes
  • Weaponry:
    • Orcalic Pulse Turrets: 25
    • Orcalic Beam Turrets: 2
    • Plasma Cannons: 5
    • Missile Batteries: 8
    • Disruptor Cannons: 5
    • Expanding Sphere Generator: No
    • Gravity Mines

The replacement for the Anu, the Exodus is also extremely old, yet unlike the Anu, still very versatile. Its jobs range from inter and intera-system transport, to minelaying, to construction vessel, to even minor colonizing efforts, if need be.

Charon Class Colony Ship

charonfreighter5vk.jpg

  • Length: 1 Kilometer
  • Crew Compliment: 100
  • Colonist Limit: 1,000
  • Maneuverability: Very Low
  • Defenses:
    • Hull-Hugging Shields: Below Average
    • Advanced Ablative Armor: No
    • Cloaking Device: Yes
  • Weaponry:
    • Orcalic Pulse Turrets: 30
    • Orcalic Beam Turrets: 5
    • Plasma Cannons: 5
    • Missile Batteries: 10
    • Disruptor Cannons: 7
    • Expanding Sphere Generator: No
    • Gravity Mines

The Charon is a rare vessel, constructed on an as-needed basis. Oftentimes when colonizing a new planet, the Charon won’t even be used, and the colonists will simply bring the supplies with them from other sources.

Atlantian Station Stats

  • Crew Compliment: 8,000
  • Maneuverability: N/A

    • Hull-Hugging Shields: Insanely High
    • Advanced Ablative Armor: Yes
    • Cloaking Device: No
  • Weaponry:
    • Orcalic Pulse Turrets: 800
    • Orcalic Beam Turrets: 100
    • Plasma Cannons: 300

No body can function without a central nerve and brain. The Citadel class Battlestations are the Atlantian Fleet’s central nerve and brain. They can build, repair, and resupply whole minor fleets at a time. There is at least one in every Atlantian system with a population of over 100 million, and sometimes (if there are two heavily populated planets in-system) more.

Harpy Class Planetary Defense Turret

harpyturret3ti.jpg

  • Length: 10 Meters
  • Crew Compliment: N/A
  • Maneuverability: Insanely High
  • Defenses:
    • Hull-Hugging Shields: Polarized Hullplating
    • Advanced Ablative Armor: No
    • Cloaking Device: Yes
  • Weaponry:
    • Orcalic Pulse Turrets: 5
    • Orcalic Beam Turrets: 1
    • Plasma Cannons: N/A
    • Missile Batteries: N/A
    • Disruptor Cannons: N/A
    • Expanding Sphere Generator: No
    • Gravity Mines: N/A

The Harpies are an age-old design, but still a worthwhile investment. Every world with a population of 100 million or higher have at least one sphere of turrets which encompass the entire planet’s orbit. Usually they are inactive and cloaked…until a battle starts. If enemy ships get too close, they will decloak and open fire. Oftentimes, an Atlantian tactic will be to lead an offending group of ships into a known cluster of turrets, and then let them be destroyed.

Prometheus Class Shipyard

prometheusshipyard0rh.jpg

  • Length: 1 Kilometer (width depends on how many are connected)
  • Crew Compliment: 100
  • Maneuverability: N/A
  • Defenses:
    • Hull-Hugging Shields: Average
    • Advanced Ablative Armor: No
    • Cloaking Device: No
  • Weaponry:
    • Orcalic Pulse Turrets: 50
    • Orcalic Beam Turrets: 3
    • Plasma Cannons: N/A
    • Missile Batteries: N/A
    • Disruptor Cannons: 5
    • Expanding Sphere Generator: No
    • Gravity Mines: N/A

In addition to the Citadel class Starbases, some major worlds might also have a series of Prometheus class shipyards in orbit as well. As with most shipyards, their main purpose is to repair and build ships. Those too large for the shipyards (such as the capital ship classes) are simply constructed in peaces, and then assembled in free orbit.

Centurion Class Outpost

centurionoutpost3cx.jpg

  • Length: 300 Meters
  • Crew Compliment: 50
  • Maneuverability: N/A
  • Defenses:
    • Hull-Hugging Shields: Average
    • Advanced Ablative Armor: No
    • Cloaking Device: No
  • Weaponry:
    • Orcalic Pulse Turrets: 20
    • Orcalic Beam Turrets: 2
    • Plasma Cannons: N/A
    • Missile Batteries: N/A
    • Disruptor Cannons: 2
    • Expanding Sphere Generator: No
    • Gravity Mines: N/A

As the Citadel is too expensive to build in every system claimed by the Atlantians, any unpopulated systems (or indeed, even in systems with a starbase, lesser populated worlds) are home to at least one Centurion class Outpost. They are small, non-combat, and hardly worth looking over. However, they are a placemarker, and oversee the system, making sure nothing happens. Most double as science stations, to which Thoth class vessels might dock at frequently.

Styx Class Jumpgate

elysianjumpgate9md.jpg

  • Length: 10 Kilometers
  • Crew Compliment: N/A
  • Maneuverability: N/A
  • Defenses:
    • Hull-Hugging Shields: Average
    • Advanced Ablative Armor: Yes
    • Cloaking Device: Yes
  • Weaponry:
    • Orcalic Pulse Turrets: N/A
    • Orcalic Beam Turrets: N/A
    • Plasma Cannons: N/A
    • Missile Batteries: N/A
    • Disruptor Cannons: N/A
    • Expanding Sphere Generator: No
    • Gravity Mines: N/A

A proposed Atlantian design. As of yet, no Elysians have been built. In theory, they will allow Atlantians to create artificial jump nodes to locations of their choosing.
