Atopian Strategic Rocket Forces

Created in 2002 as a last resort option for the defense of Atopia by the Grand Council of the Atopian Anarchist Federation, the ASRF's main task until 2105 was to deter - through the doctrine of Mutually Assured Destruction - any attack by a hostile foreign power (such as Skgorria). After 2105, its main task was to act as a weapon of first resort in international conflict. This doctrine was changed following the assault on Atopiana by allies of British Londinium after the collapse of the Treaty of Westminster.

Atopian Nuclear Strike Capability

The ASRF is now entirely equipped with heavily updated Topol-M SS-27 intercontinental ballistic missiles, utilising multiple independently targetable re-entry vehicles (most commonly five 650KT nuclear warheads). The Topol-M is fired from mobile launchers and silos across Atopiana, and there is always one Strategic Rocket Regiment on ‘Red Ready’ – alert standby for immediate launch.

Before the civil war, Atopia’s nuclear strike force was concerned with the possibility of revenge attacks on Skgorria, and as such consisted primarily of silo-launched SS-18 and SS-20 ICBMs. Following the AUF’s victory, the nuclear strike capability of Atopiana was vastly expanded, and linked to the Atopian Space Force. To this day the ASRF and ASF maintain strong ties.

Galation - destroyed. 38,000,000 dead approx. The ruins were later sold off to the highest bidder, for a total of several billion dollars. Mutated sub-humans occasionally mount raids on the occupiers. The site of the Galatian capital, now a glass-walled crater, is controlled by Skgorria.

Caliguan Empire - destroyed. 879,000,000 dead approx. Atopiana and Skgorria occupied the ruins for nuclear; biological; chemical warfare and Rad-Zone training.

Demaray - annihilated. 10,000,000 dead approx.

Fourth Holy Reich - annihilated. 182,000,000 dead approx.

Approximate total casualties: 1,109,000,000 (one billion, one hundred and nine million)

Primo Frank, then leader of Atopiana and the Atopian Union of Fascists, recieved two of Frank Riddel's favoured handmaidens and a gold-plated scale model of a nuclear bomb in return for the annihilation of the Fourth Holy Reich. The golden bomb is kept in the office of the Primo as a reminder of the power of the ASRF and, through that body, the power of the New Fascist Order’s men and women.
