A football player who competed in the World Cup as part of the team from the People’s Democratic Social Republic of Ariddia, the World Cup founder.

Clair played in forward position, and wore the number 22. He made his first appearance in World Cup 10, and also played in World Cup 11, Ariddia’s last appearance before World Cup 25. He was 27 years old at the time of the game's eleventh edition, and has now retired.

Clair cut a tall, almost skinny figure on the football pitch, and his pale brown, almost blond hair has now turned to grey. He seems to be one of the best-remembered Ariddian players several decades later, a testimony to the mark he left on the minds of spectators in just two Cups. In World Cup 10, the Ariddian team, with Clair leading the attack (under the captaincy of the astonishing forty-six year-old Ranjit Khan), made it all the way to the semi-finals, then proudly won the match for the third-place by defeating One Red Dot two goals to nil.
