Aurada

Aurada is a Kiravian colony, and a province of the Kiravian Empire.

History

Aurada was discovered by Seirm Novân's expedition in Cosciv year 3189. It was annexed by the Empire, and the port settlement of Sandport was built.

Settlers were hard to attract, so the area became a Penal Colony called "Austalarida". Most prisoners who had served their terms remained in Aurada as free farmers. They proved that the land was good for some types of farming. Soon, hundreds of Kiravian settlers arrived. THey set up plantations and settlements to graze sheep, cattle, and other such creatures. Soem types of cale were planted, and Aurada became a reasonably succesful exporter of animal products and cale.
