Auto Racing in Casari is organized by the Casaran Automobile and Motorcycle Racing Association. Races are held involving a wide variety of cars and motorcycles throughout the region.

ZX-Class Racing

ZX-Class racing started as an unlimited subgroup of the Class 6 Prototype cars at Touring and Sports Car racing. However, the continuing evolution and number of various forms of these cars that developed quickly made them more expensive than any team was able to support, and the group was soon discontinued. However, to prevent an independent championship from developing to exploit the available machinery, the ZX series was formed independent of the other areas of Casaran Auto Racing. The ZX series continued to evolve, eventually encompassing everything from overpowered and hypermodified street cars of all types to sleeker, custom-built prototypes. In addition, the series maintains one of the more bizarre and eccentric race schedules in the nation, with the cars of the series taking part in events of various lengths and forms, on at multiple surfaces.

Touring Car/Rally Racing

Taking place in six specifically defined classes almost every weekend on almost every track in Casari, Touring Car racing is one of the backbones of auto racing in the country. Cars are homologated into each class based on production numbers and performance by CAMRA, which also oversees National and Regional Championships for each type in both Touring Car and Rally formats.

Class 2 Improved Touring Cars 1200/yr (100/month) Modified/Enhanced components allowed

Class 5 Exotics 24/yr (2/month) Modified/Enhanced components allowed
Class 6 Prototypes None Open

Rallying also takes place under these same classes, however a different set of mandatory safety requirements are necessary for cars entering rally events.

Motorcycles

Motorcycle racing in Casari takes place on both purpose-built and production motorcycles with a number of different displacement levels, starting with 1000cc series for both purpose-built and production models and supporting series with bikes of smaller displacement. Championships

All races are given a category for the National and various Regional Championship Series for each class of vehicle taking part in the event. Starting with Category 1, which offers the most points, each Category carries less points than the previous, up to the highest, which offers no championship points. Races might be categorized for more than one series, and might also possess a number of bonus points applicable to any championship that the race (and entry which won them) was classified for. A de facto National and Regional Championship series is then made up by the various upper-category races occurring around the country.
