Prototypes are purpose-built race cars with an open cockpit. Bridging the gap between Formula and Sports cars, they are the centerpiece of many of the Confederation's prestigious races. The Sports Racer classes are slower cars, usually raced by local enthusiasts. While similar in design, they are built out of well-established and reliable technology.

==Championships==
Sprint Cars are a particularly unique form of auto racing, with events held on small dirt tracks and paved ovals around the country. The cars are particularly powerful, with some relying on large wings to hold them to the track and are constructed with as few extra components as possible to keep weight down to a minimum.

All races are given a category for the National and various Regional Championship Series for each class of vehicle taking part in the event. Starting with Category 1, which offers the most points, each Category carries less points than the previous, up to the highest, which offers no championship points. Races might be categorized for more than one series, and might also possess a number of bonus points applicable to any championship that the race (and entry which won them) was classified for. A de facto National and Regional Championship series is then made up by the various upper-category races occurring around the country.
