Bagiydaw Ahumiki

General of the Army Bagiydaw Ahumiki (born. 1918) has been the second post 1932 independence president of Lima since 1945.He rose through the ranks of the army and became highest commanding general in 1943 at age 25.Two years later he lead a succesfull coup and deposed long-time authoritarian president Omar Sadungunh .He promised that he would take "up the presidency" for an "interim period" . In 2005,the whole nation was forced to celebrate his 60th year as president.

Since 1946 people are banned from leaving the country,only high ranking army officials may recieve a passport.The economy is centered around state planned enterprises and investments.One particular investment, ordered by Ahumiki in 1991 and payed from tax income,has lead to a loss of over 89 000 000 dollars.Thusly,in November 1991,people were ordered by a special edict to pay their taxes again,like they have not payed them before.Also,next year,taxes were due in at the end of January and reached a value of 180 % of the preceeding years.Over 600 000 became hurled to abstract poverty.Int hat year and in 1993,over 25 000 people tried to flee the country.The government sent fighter planes and bombarded the refugees with gas and with smaller range misiles.Over 16 000 were killed on the spot,another 3000 died in custody,when ebing denied any medical treatment.The government officialy acknowledged one dead in an "accident",however the ca. 6000 people who escaped to close by Desh reported about the events of the masacre.In 1994,Lima asked that all people from Lima,having gained asylum in Desh between 1980 and 1994 to be deported to Lima as "criminals" for "prosecution".600 people were sent in 1995,however,of theese,2 managed to emigrate to Desh again and reported that they were taken from the airport and were then under an armed asault by over 2500 soldiers.They were the only ones confirmed to have survived.In 1996 Ahumiki declared an "amnesty" for imigrants.Though mostly it was ingored,over 100 people returned to Lima and were subsequently arested and within 2 days sentenced to from 8-20 years of hardest working labout camp (type C).However,about 60 of theese people were freed and brought back to Dehs by secret agents of the "Crown Guards".The government of Desh then declared a boycot on Lima from 1997. In 1998 Ahumiki flew to Desh to begin talks to lift the boycot.However, he refused any democratization in Lima,saying it would "weaken the country".

That same year Lima was declared the "Socialist Peoples Free Republic of Lima and Acunjho".All other parties then the communist and socialist parties were banned,their members arested and many of them killed.Witnesses claim that over 400 people were secretly transported into the jungles in the north and shot-it was later confirmed that the soldiers took a wrong turn and did the execution nea a villiage.The bodies of the executed has their faces cut off,along with their fingers and hair,to prohibit identification.However,18 of the deceased were recognisable as key members of the "National Pacifist Party".This lead to protest in 1999.In 2000 all personal real-estate beyond a government limit was confiscated and made "state property".Between 2001/2002 the building of colective farms and "kolchoz"'s was taking place.Only after a heart atack on Ahuiki's side in 2003 was the colectivization stoped and it was fully retconned in 2004.In 2005 he openly stated he is highly religious,having converted to the roman catholic church in 1965.
