Notes
World Cup 28 Winner, Olympic Champion

Balin Grimzabar is notable both as a goalkeeper who never earned the starting Number-One jersey for his country, but also as the only Dwarven goalie ever to play for Starblaydia. Though he went to four consecutive [World Cup|World Cups]], he was never fully trusted with a role between the posts, not even by Starblaydia's famous Dwarven manager Khim Azanulbizarn.

Though Balin had thighs like tree trunks and holds the unofficial Starblaydia national football team record for the Sergeant Jump], the thought of a player standing at less than five feet high between the national team's goalposts was one that unnerved almost every Starblaydi football fan. Despite proving himself fully capable on many occasions, he was consistently selected behind the great David Bedford, then unluckily ousted for the Olympic squad by Oyvind Collier, and finally benched in preference to a woman.

Nevertheless, Grimzabar served club and country well, even if he appeared a little comical while doing so.
